Yup, I did get a few things.

A tank of gas...

and I found my limited edition "F" ballcap from the driving academy in 2007.

Passport escort 9500ix with blue leds, matches the interior nicely. Love it. So few false alarms.

I gave her brake pads and rotors, spark plugs, tires, and Borla Catback.

I don't want to look at my credit card bills lol

After 5 years and 3 months of owning my IS F…finally got some mods for myself this xmas

Did anyone get anything for their F for Christmas?-kbdiprp.jpg

Volk Racing GT-S in Titanium Gun Metal,
Front: 19x8.5" +43 C-Face (225/40/19)
Rear: 19x10.5" +43 A-Face (255/35/19)

Lowered with Tein CST Coilovers. Rears all the way down, fronts are about 1/2" from the lowest setting. Dampening set at 16 (full stiff)

Yeah…I know it's not as aggressive as some setups, but I'm happy with it. I reused the tires off my OEM wheels because they're only 1 month old. I'm happy with it because it gives some tire stretch in the back.

Merry Holidays!

I got her some JDM window visors, sikky headers with a full custom exhaust, and powdercoated the calipers candy orange. Shes a spoiled brat. Now my wallets empty.

You powdercoated the calipers? How? Brembo advises not to disassemble the calipers.

Wow, looks great man! I don't think I've ever heard of anyone owning a car for that long and then deciding to mod, haha! On almost every car I've owned I've done at least the wheels (almost always Volk) and suspension within the first 6 months of ownership.

Every car I've had previous to the IS F, which is only 3 other cars, I've modded. The whole idea behind buying the IS F was to not mod the car at all. Got a deal on the wheels, so I bit the bullet. Wheels of course means you have to do suspension, so I did the whole bit.

My friend was pushing me to get HREs, but they're just so damn expensive at $6500 for a set of wheels. I just couldn't do it. I spent under $4000 for the Volks and Tein CST coil overs. BUT…no more mods. Not gonna do headers and all that stuff that everyone else does.
