After resetting ECU...
Hey guys,
I have a 08 ISF that i've had for 2 years now. Anyway I just got borla catback installed and went ahead to reset the ecu by pulling fuse ETCS & EFI, waited at least a min before reinserting the fuses. Now the first time i tried to start the car, it bogged and did not start (did it even fire up?) the first time. Now I pressed the start button a second time, the car came to life normally.
I've had it happen before while i reset the ecu when i had the K&N installed. Same thing that time.
Just wondering if anyone had this happen to them before...i never saw anyone commenting something like this happen to their ISF.

I've only seen one Toyota product fire on first contact after a battery/ECM reset. It was a Scion tC we did an engine swap on. All the rest have done exactly this - start, quit, restart and everything is fine. Even my '93 Supra does this.
