Default Anyone Painted their Calipers Red?

I got a 2012 Lexus ISF Mercury metallic and looking to paint my calipers red, I am unsure how the the red will look on a silver car. I do have 35 percent tint on the car and think the red will look nice. Any input from anyone?

Is it best to remove them? Or tape off...and leave them on?

Personally, not sure about red calipers.

I used to like red calipers but I think they're overdone. Maybe I just see too many cars with red calipers and I've grown tired of seeing them. The stock 2014 ISFs come with orange calipers which I think are a breath of fresh air. I think orange looks best on either White or Silver.

That's the color I want...orange. Been doing research and I saw a video where a guy painted his calipers without removing them.

He used orange caliper paint but I was wondering... Can engine paint be used also? Since it can take heat.

i think red can look good on the silver, or almost any color car really as there are already red elements on the car in the taillights

I believe the orange only comes in the Japanese special edition model. We wont get that in the US.

Wow, I love the candy apple red on the calipers!!! I think that's the perfect color of red. Stands out enough to be noticed but not in your face, like a fire engine red would be.

it’s your car, so do whatever makes you happy. I painted mind with regular car paint and its holding up great. I don’t track mind and it doesn’t see too much high heat, but if you are someone who track their car, i would recommend something that can with stand hi temp.
