Default Will I pass Virginia Emission If i install Sikky Headers?

Got my car last week and was thinking of getting the Sikky headers but does not want to mess with Virginia emission. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Virginia does not have emissions testing just a visual inspection. If you have stock exhaust it is possible because you will still have two cats. If you have an aftermarket exhaust you are going to have to find someone who can get you a sticker.

I got a Joe-Z exhaust and went to the shell across the street from my house. They asked no questions and I was out of there in about 10min. Where in VA are you?

Zapa: Most of Northern Virginia does have both visual and sniffer emissions tests. You're going to want to check with some of the DC area people to see what they do, or what shops to go to that are mod friendly. Lots of people in that area run Sikky because of the proximity to Baltimore (Sikky headquarters).

I swap my stock exhaust on yearly for inspection/emissions and never have a problem with the headers still on the car. Just don't go to a dealership for these checks!

Just to be clear, the way VA code is written, if your car ends up being any louder you can be cited for it. There are some troopers down here that will write for it and some who could care less. Just an FYI

could wait for the PPE exhaust with the electronic valve to lower the noise, the Meistershaft exhaust is out and has that but its a bit pricier but sounds ridiculously good. Exhaust system shouldnt increase emissions just exhaust flow. If you mess with the cats though it will change emissions.
