We will see what we can do. The new baffling material PPE is using generates a much nicer tone that the Magnaflow product so we are pretty excited to get the sound clips.

It looks like there is a new PPE IS-F STAINLESS DUAL EXHAUST available. Not much info on the PPE site, but Figs has some info, see http://shopfigs.com/v1/index.php?rou...product_id=279

Anybody seen this, have it, know of links to sound clips? How's the quality, performance, fitment? Any comparisons to others like Joe-Z, Borla?

Just looking for info before deciding on an exhaust to go with. Any info would be helpful.

Don't know much about their new exhaust but I can tell you for the $$ & the sound Borla/PPE combo as shown in my sig has my vote.

Figs is working on getting audio clip up. There is a thread on it. It will be of the highest quality with PPE involved in it. I have had Borla, Joe Z and now Joe Z/PPE header combo. Love my Joey Z so anxious to hear how PPE exhaust sounds compared to it.

I was paging through the dyno runs and unfortunately the sound is overrun by the dyno. We have the static sound clips from inside the shop that I will upload shortly.

the sound level on the unit we have is very mild because it has both cats and resonators. It basically goes from throaty to silent but never loud.

MY friend's F with PPE Headers, no cats, and JoeZ exhaust is quieter than my F with PPE, Cats, and the PPE Dual Mode Exhaust, at least at idle with the PPE system set to open. We parked both cars side by side, and let them idle, we then stepped back, and you could still hear mine long after his went silent. The tone on the PPE, set to open, was also deeper than the JoeZ.

It's too bad I don't have decent sound equipment.

It should also be pointed out, that Figs does not have have headers and with the cats in the PPE Exhaust System, he now has both the stock primary cats and the second set, high flow cats. Therefore any sound clip he posts really won't be a true measure of what the sound really is with headers and no primary cats. I am actively pursuing ways to obtain or rent a better recording system to more accurately portray the true sound of PPE's System better than my previous recordings from my camera.
