^ ^ ^ ^I completely understand. IMHO, having cats is the socially responsible thing to do. And, you can add cats to your Borla system. See pics of the cats that were in my old system just behind the PPE headers. They are MagnaFlow HiFlow cats, and any good exhaust shop should be able to add them.

There are so many options to manage on these kits but intro pricing can certainly be worked on. Group buys just do not work as well as it sounds as the early guys lose a lot of time waiting for the final count. There are no shortcuts and the goal is to have a high-quality system with components that will not fail in the long term thus the pricing reflects these components.

I also have the same setup. Just got the PPE header installed last week. Car sounds amazing, but it's stinky. Do you know what size is the cat from Magnaflow? 2" or 2.5"? Thank you.

How did you like the PPE header and Borla combo with cats? Did it sound different after you add the cat? Would my car still be stinky after adding it? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks in advance.

^^^^I never had a Borla system, my prior exhaust system was a full dual system with modified stock mufflers. However I was just trying to show you what could be done with the Borla, because the head pipes are the same in size and design.
As far as an odor, no I never had one, because of the cats. I believe that if you put cats on your Borla system, that will eliminate the gasoline odor that your are experiencing.
