Silver State Classic Challenge, IS-F 2nd Place Finish!!!
Over the past year my navigator and I and I have been prepping for the Silver State Classic Challenge. The race was finally on Sunday in Ely, Nevada and we took 2nd Place in our division. Our time was .53 of a second from our target time, which is basically a blink of an eye! The winner had a time of .33 of a second, which meant we missed 1st place by 2 tenths of a second, lol. Our tech speed was 124 mph and our target time was 51:24:27 over 90 miles. Of course I had the only F out there and it was also the only Lexus. There were around 150 cars, including Corvettes, Mustangs, Ferraris, Vipers, Lambos, Porsches, an NSX, a Ford GT, and bunch of other exotic race cars. Even with all those other cars the F caught everyone's attention at the car show and parade and we got a lot of compliments and praise for the car.
Really quick as well, thanks to the guys who have helped me on the forum get the suspension dialed in and other prep work as well. Also Tommy at Music Box has been a great help over the past year with little things here and there. JoeZ if you read this, everyone there loved your exhaust and how it sounded, we got tons of compliments on the "awesome" sound of the car.

Awesome outcome and no surprise to me. I have taken out LOTS of super exotics. The F is still top of my list. With a great driver, Anything is possible.
