Default ISF muffler conversion question.

I currently have joe z exhaust on but still using stock exhaust tip which is a fake one. and I really like the real looking of a quad exhaust pipe. I thought about iss forged but I like the joe z sound and also don't want to spend another grand or plus on exhaust. , so is there someone did or know how to do muffler conversion? what I thought about is cut the canister and weld a new one , remove the tip . like this kinda thing or this

When you change the muffler you'll end up changing how it sounds anyways.. The Joe z sound comes primrily from the muffler

Theoretically, if you want to go this route, your better off to sell the JoeZ, then build your own piping with these on the ends. Cutting what you have currently would be throwing money away on the JoeZ setup. Wouldnt be prudent.

Instead of changing the mufflers, you could custom fabricate quad tips only, and weld them to the Joe-z mufflers.

I'm in the same boat. The ISS DES is tough to come by used and $2k new is tough for me to stomach. I love the JoeZ but would enjoy different tips. I've thought about having some custom tips welded on but just haven't gotten around to it yet. It sure seems like a simple thing to do.

Personably I'm just going to make my own exhaust that looks like the Iss forged this winter. I just gotta figure out what tips they put on their mufflers.
