Default Headers on 2011 ISF issues

I took my car to the dealer today to check out a rubbing sound when making left turns. It turns out my car have headers on it which is rubbing on the frame when making left turns. Does anyone out there have this issue and if so how do I fix?

I purchased the car 2 weeks ago.

I would be ticked off buying the car with aftermarket headers especially ones that are problematic. Take it back to the dealership and have them removed. This should have been disclosed prior to buying.

Agreed. But it is entirely possible the dealership didn't even catch it. Also, if/when he gets to take them out, he may be a bit bummed by the difference in power. He's used to 40whp over stock.

Yes i am ticked off.. spent so much money and not even 2 weeks driving the car. I emailed the gm for the dealership hopefully they will replace. They are also replacing the steering shaft just my luck..
They did not disclosed any aftermarket parts on the car..

Hahaha!!! Pat, I'm sure we can look around for stock exhaust manifolds to exchange with OP!!

Your subframe is either misaligned when they installed the headers or you got one of those Sikky that required some "massage" to get it away from the frame

I would be upset the dealer sold you a car without catts. That is illegal. So the leverage is completely on your side. Again you should take a pic of the headers. I would ask for OEM pieces to take home in case you need to put them on. But consider your self lucky. For exams I spent $3500 with install on my borla/ppe combo.

You will be disappointed to go from what you have back to oem. The sound I believe is a easy fix if you have the Sikky headers. You may even be close enough to go there and have it fixed. You have something touching the heat shield on your passenger side when turning. It may be as simple as bending the heatshield some. The steering may not have been put back correctly when the headers were installed.
