Injector Maintenance Light
So driving to work this morning and all of a sudden I notice a sign on my dash, reads as below:
Car feels fine and I was going to be taking it into service at 10k anyway (As the dealer told me), but has anyone had this sign come on their dash?
Tried doing a search and couldn't find anything.
Its a bit odd with only 10k km it already needs injector maintenance.

Which injection?
If that message comes up, get the car to the dealer. It's their problem. The OBD2 system should tell us where the problem is, but since warranty covers fuel systems let the dealer do it.
I believe the fuel injection system in this car is very sophisticated. It has a low pressure port injection system and a high pressure direct injection system. The direct injection part has got to be very expensive to work on or get parts for.
Love to know what the answer is?

Hmmm well I have my car booked for service for next Saturday
The car feels fine, doesn't feel like anything is wrong.
I should be fine driving around like this until next week right?
I'm guessing if it was a serious problem it would have gone into safety mode.
What surprises me is that no one on here seems to have had this sign come up before , maybe we just had dirty petrol.

^ Dude don't say that, you're the last person I want to hear say that lol.
I'll keep you guys updated when it goes into service next week.

Cause the dealership here can't accept taking any cars until Thursday afternoon (they supposdily have a lot of cars being serviced currently)
Now if I give them my car on Thursday they won't even touch the car and start working on it until Saturday (Our weekends here are Thursday and Friday)
So I'd rather keep it in my hands until then, I don't want the car lying around somewhere in the service section not being serviced.

This does not exist in US spec vehicles. There's nothing in the US TIS about injector maintenance.

Well I am in the Middle East so mine should be GCC Spec or Jap spec.
Usually we're closer to the Jap specs than the US models. Even on my previous car (Infiniti)
