IS F wheel fitment
Hi Guys,
There's a set of volk wheels for sale here in the Denver metro area that I'm considering. From what I've gathered from a wheel fitment guide, offsets for the F should be something like:
Front- 9 to 9.5" wide, +40 to +46
Rear- 9.5-10.5" wide, +50 to +58
Specs on the Volk wheels:
FOR SALE 20" VOLK GT-7 5X114.3 -5x4.5
Rear 20x10.5 of +24
front 20x9.5 of +22
What are you thoughts on how well these will fit the F?
Offset isn't in the recommended range so what effects will this cause or what will I see?
Thanks in advance for any solid advice.

These wheels won't fit. They sit too far out. If you look at my 20s thread, seems like very few people here actually know the specs they're running and many of the 20" setups I see, they run stretched tires which look odd in my eyes (very aftermarket).
I'm educated guessing that this is the ideal 20" tire/wheel fitment:
20x9 w/245/30/20
20x10.5 w/285/25/20
I'm working with Tag Motorsports out of San Diego to confirm offset figures with Work in Cali or Japan fully understanding that I want zero rubbing, full lock and compression even when lowered a bit on adjustable coilovers. Once I find out, I'll post them. I like my wheels and tires to match like OEM and for the setup to fit flush to fenders without any rolling, shaving, general molestation of beautiful Lexus fender parts. I like lowering to the point of tires never tucking under the wheel well, but just so in the back with an ever so slight gap in the front.

^ not sure what you refer to as stretched tires.
To the OP those rims are too aggressive for the ISF without doing some fender work and running negative camber. Stick within the range of offsets that are feasible if you dont want any issues and want to run full size tires.
in the case above I would do a 9.5" front with a +38 or higher offset and out back a +45 offset or higher but since these are used you dont have a choice and should pass on them.

As Murph145 stated, It'll be hard to pull off that combo without some alterations, either to the fender or to the wheel/tire combo.
ROK, thank you in advance for helping out future wheel buyers. I think many have attempted to run 20s and have gone with manufacturer offsets hoping they'll fit. It's a lot of asking questions and conversation, but it truly does benefit the F crowd.
