Hopefully Lexus will bring out something cool for the SF International AutoShow in a few months, either that or will I ask the Rep what's in the pipeline, heck that's how I got into the test drive event in 2007.

As for the M3's.....

Have not had any E46's challange me. They pull up at a stop light, but they don't make any moves. I don't really bother with them either.

As for the current E90, have not ran against one yet.

The new M4 has more torque and about 14 more bhp than our V8, hopefully it will be somewhat reliable and not like the 335i with their new engine.....

thanks for the link^

If that is the new RC-F I'd say no thanks, way too much going on in that body to convey any sense of elegance. Looks like a boy toy at best don't care how fast it's going to be.

A Lexus should look sedate but elegant. The previous gen IS-F was nice but all these new cars IMO are trying too hard to be something they are not.

I really want to get back into a GS-F or something fast in the Lexus family but if this is how all their new cars are going to be, I'll probably upgrade to the F10 M5 soon instead.

I sold my ISF over a year ago for an E90 M3 and I just sold it. The BMWs are great if you don't mind paying a brand who is 16th in reliability a premium to own their car.

I don't know what to buy since I sold it but it will probably be a Stingray.

If you pick up a Stingray, wait for the Z06/Z07. Saw two camo'd ones running up Central in South Phoenix. From what I cold discern, they look all the business and sound it too.

Reliability is all taken with a grain of salt ~ I've had 3 M3's over the years (e36, e46, e90) and never had any issues that I would be overly concerned over. I think it's all personal experience and how you drive the car. My Audi s4 has also been 100% Lexus trouble free

To say you would buy a car over how people rate it is kind of silly...

With that said, a Stingray is hardly a competitor for the m3 or IS-F which means you really need a 2-door sports car. For me, I need the 5 seats and space so logical upgrade would be an M5 unless Lexus offered something comparable which it does not.

Yeah, it's basically hit and miss with European cars. But I think there are more misses with Euros. I have a 2010 Audi A5 that is burning oil at the moment. Just added a quart yesterday morning. My Lexus and Honda have both been trouble free
