Really? I thought it sounded a little different, almost as if Yamaha tuned the motor specifically to produce a pleasant sound (like they did with the LFA).
Reports also said it'll have something around 460 HP, which pretty much is on par with what the new M3 will offe.r
Except the new M3/M4 with turbos can be easy tuned to make way more than that and this will be stuck.
Yup, it wouldn't surprise me honestly it's already a proven, reliable engine and there is no doubt the can squeeze a little more power out of it. I think they can easily get to 450bhp which is enough to stay with the upcoming M3
Ya but even so I'll take an NA V8 over a turbo 6 any day
I cannot be on your side anymore!! The feel, sound, and performance of a N/A V8 is just so gratifying.

That's what I always worry about these days. I did watch the video. But with so many cars pushing an artificial exhaust sound it's hard to tell. I have notice that many manufacturers have tuned the exhaust note to produce almost any sound. Some are so growly, i.e. many Infiniti's, but don't have much under the hood.

I want to know if they will release another IS-F to fight the M3.
Hard to tell if it's a V8. Could be a tuned exhaust note.

Agreed. And I haven't even driven one yet!! Pretty funny I'm saying that, but I just love V8 engines. If I do hop into one, the next gen does have a V8, and they get great results, I will definitely be in to have the 2nd gen V8 ISF.
the headlights are wrong but great render overall. i dont think people liked the drl in the bumper so it looks like lexus changed their minds about that styling cue.
and i have a sneaking suspicion that the hood vent is just for testing. they'll probably give it the LF-A double vent. the LF-CC concept also had double vents.
