not sure really. all i know is when they were doing there "last batch" i inquired and was told $2650
I know a person who bought that same exhaust a little over a year ago and it was only $1900 so not sure how it increased $750?
Anyways I am just waiting on getting my Joe Z exhaust just being lazy. I do like how the ISS forged has the true dual tips but not sure its worth that much extra

I got my DES in the group buy for a helluva lot less (my video on the dyno is on their site). Like others mentioned a Joe Z or Borla with headers is a better investment. It's your money though.

Coming from someone that has no exhaust yet. I would say Joe Z, reason: he has a ISF and understands what most F owners want from an exhaust system. He is very active in the F community and a fellow CL member.
Hopefully I will have mine with in the next two weeks, and give you a proper review

I didn't know Dustin was still taking orders for the "last batch" of exhausts that are being manufactured. When I had called and inquired two months ago they told me they were doing a limited run of ~25 and that there were only two spots left. I guess people are either backing out or they are adding more to their "limited" run.
I'm definitely starting to question the price tag though. Especially if the same exhaust was being sold for $750 less a short while ago.
Some had also mentioned about not getting the "Ti" tips. Any particular reason why?

Yea my friend got the same exhaust a little over a year ago he said for around $1900 shipped when I contacted them two months ago about one of the open spots thy to,d me $2650 shipped that's why I said no thanks.
Hopefully thy aren't just raising prices because thy can but I guess it's a business thy can o whatever the customer lets them do.

They are creating there own low supply and high demand by saying discontinued so they can focus on there wheels. I guess whatever works but for me the joe z is a much better bargain. Now if we can get joe to give a true dual exhaust tip option then he'd be the shiat lol

Is it really high demand though? I mean, are there that many people willing to actually spend $2500 on a catback exhaust for this car? Sure, something is worth whatever people will pay for it (ie: $2K for a pair of Nikes made in China for $2), but from what I've seen the ISS exhausts do not have better build quality or power numbers than the exhaust systems out there for half the price. What exactly are you getting for the extra money?
Oh, and since the OP asked, the Ti tips have been shown to wear off so that pretty blue/purple/green burnt look doesn't last..
