2010 Silver IS-F - Considering purchase, need advice
Hi all,
I'm considering purchasing the IS-F at http://wwwa.autotrader.ca/a/Lexus/IS...howcpo=ShowCPO
Are there any upcoming maintenance issues I should be mindful of that CPO won't cover?
What's a good price? Based on my research I estimate they have about $10k of profit in the amount they're asking for and I should be looking at around $40k CDN or so before taxes. Am I right?
Any other advice would be appreciated. Especially from somebody in the GTA who would have more experience with the Ontario market.
Thanks again.

Take the VIN and go to http://owners.lexus.com and put it in to see the dealer service history. I was in Montreal this past weekend and noticed the currency conversion rate is almost 1:1 so $47k would be a way too much. 82,000km ~ 50,000 mi... you should offer mid $30k if svc history looks clean.

Thanks for the info. I just got an e-mail from the dealer. Apparently, it's been sold. I hope they didn't pay too much, otherwise it's only going to encourage inflated prices in this area! I guess I got to keep looking.
I took a look at the website you gave. It needs you to sign up. Does it then let you add any VIN? Even if it's not from the US (i.e. Canada)?
