Default Dropped the car and now have AFS that won't go out

after lowering my car and getting it all adjusted my afs light came on, I hopped on the forum and read I needed to adjust my afs sensor so I maxed the adjustment and it's still on. My car is lower but not slammed and I know there are guys much lower than me without this light flashing... Any help would be appreciated

Make sure the brackets positioned correctly. Sounds stupid but it is an easy mistake. I made the mistake once of putting it on the control arm in the wrong position. It looked ok at a glance. Once I took a better look I noticed it can be positioned wrong and look convincing.

Did you double check the bracket to make sure its in the correct position? I had the same problem on my wife's 2012 F-Sport and the dealer kept saying there was nothing wrong with the sensor and that the sensor looked fine. I called BS and corrected the bracket position and no more stupid flashing AFS light GL Bro!

Do you get it everytime?

I get it once a month or so, so I just restart the car and it goes away.

...maybe I should go check the control arm

^^^^^ That's the symptom you would get if the bracket is out of position.

^ x2 I had my wife's AFS light flashing for about a month before I did some research of my own and figured out it was the damn bracket. Hopefully you could get it all worked out bro!

Did you get the problem fixed? How are you liking the new suspension otherwise?

The issue was stated multiple times in this thread - sensor bracket alignment in the rear.

Yeah but "darbs242" never came back and verified that was the solution to his problem...I hate assuming but at least if I have the AFS problem after dropping my car I will know one thing to try...

With the car sitting at normal ride height it should look like this:

this fixes ALL AFS issues related to improperly installing the linkage after dropping the suspension.

That was a long time ago but he did say it was fixed in a different thread. Many, many people have there suspension modified in 2is platform without issue. No need to worry, install the suspension and enjoy
