So, my friends and I all decided to get together last night for a little after work meet and dinner. That blue GT-R is an Alpha package putting down 1050awhp. After dinner the owner of the C63 wanted to go for a ride in the Alpha GT-R and so did I. We were walking out to it and the Alpha owner gives me the keys! I said, "you want me to drive it?!" He said, "yeah, you've had one and I'm kinda scared of it." (Word around town is I know how to drive) The owner of the freshly wrapped yellow GT-R hops in his car to follow us. I get in and put everything in race mode and decided to leave it in auto, because I didn't want to worry about shifting. We hit the on-ramp and OMG! 10-120 in literally 3 seconds. I backed off of it to let the other GT-R catch up at about 60 mph. He takes off and is about 3 cars in front of us when I floor it. We passed him like he was riding a bicycle! I white knuckled the steering wheel all the way up to 160, which I'm guessing took us 5 seconds. The sensation of acceleration is truly indescribable! You don't drive this car...you pilot it, because it flies. Owner told me it's an 8sec capable 1/4 mile car. When we got back I was shaking from the adrenaline rush. Simply an amazing and unbelievable car that drove like stock at normal speeds. I want one!

Alpha 10. My friend just got one as well. Whats so amazing is how linear the acceleration is.. Below 3000 rpm it drives like bone stock. At about 4000 the thing is an absolute hammer....

His isn't really an Alpha 10. If an Alpha 12 and and Alpha 10 had a child...that's his car. It's kind of mixed and matched. His bill was $91k with no E85 conversion. He's running straight 91 pump gas. Said it was actually bored to a 4.4L, but that sounds odd to me. He has a whole booklet on the conversion of his car, so I need to dig in and read it.
