Default MRxSLAYx's Kinda Sorta Goodbye #ISFsDontFloat

So just wanted to update everyone on my current situation...

A few weeks ago, my lovely city of Aventura decided that it was going to hold as much water as possible... Video HERE
I was driving the Gx, so thankfully I was able to crawl through the newly crafted waterfront property. The water level got so high that my parking sensors were actually going crazy! After some use of the Gx's mild off-road capabilities, I found myself at the entrance to the garage.

Recorded this reaction as i drove in...
Warning... There is a bit of profanity... Video is ---> HERE

And here is what the car looked like at first.

Water level by the time I could walk to the car

Went through the process of getting the car out of the water ASAP and found out that my efforts were futile. The car wouldn't recognize the key and all of the electronics were soaked. Water rose higher than the arm rest and soaked pretty much everything within the car. Thankfully, the motor wasn't in the car, but the electrical damage is still enough to total it...

That being explained, my F is GONE.... But the 2URGSE that was its heart is still safe and will be going in another car. Ill explain the details on that while updating the build thread

So wait, is insurance giving you the total loss with no motor or current going rate of an ISF of that year?

If the ladder, you my son just made out BIG time!

There will be one pissed off auctioneer or salvage yard, lol!

Going to be an Insurance Total. Still working out the numbers now, but its going to be for the value of the car minus the price of the motor.

Ouch! That's really unfortunate my friend. And a NM build at that But I know we're all looking forward to seeing your next plans with the 2URGSE. Best of luck!

That SUCKS! Hope they don't deduct the price of a new 2UR-GSE, which I believe is somewhere in the neighborhood of $18-$20K!
