Default Tires Question !!

Need some recommendations on rear tires of my '12 ISF please
Michelins only lasted a year.. TireRack recommends Continental ExtremeContact but I dont really trust them completly... Also can I go with 265/30 on the back and 225/40 on the front with stock wheels?
Thank you in Advance

if you search you will find your answers discussed over and over.
In short front 245/35/19 and rear 285/30/19 are the biggest you can ft on stock wheels with NO rubbing for stock ride height.

I think 265 30 is too small in diameter for the rear, .7" smaller in diameter vs stock. I would stay within .3" + or - vs stock diameter, that's just me though.

I actually ended up putting Hankooks on and loved them...check out the reviews, they're good so just do your research on them.

For your 2012 wheels, I would recommend 255/35R19 front and 285/30R19 rear Bridgestone Potenza S04s.

Ditto. I have started at least two threads on this.

BTW, welcome to the forums

The Op said it was for a 2012 ISF. Why would 245/35R19 be the widest tire you could fit on the front? Maybe I missed a thread somewhere stating otherwise, but I would think 255/35R19 would fit on a 19x8.5 +45 wheel in front.

I went with Michelin PSS 235 40 front and 265 35 rear. The sidewalls are just perfect to me, not ballooned. The height is also not too much taller. My speedometer is right on. I didn't like the stretched look of the stock 225 fronts and 255 rears. Can anyone post pictures of how tires bigger than 235 front and 265 rears look like, please? Thanks

Sadly my today I noticed my rear Alignment I guess !
But my rear right is shot and might as well be replacing both rears
I was thinking of putting Michelin PSS 275/30/19

I'm I supposed to do Alignment at the dealership or can I go anywhere without void the warranty.

Lol, alignment has nothing to do with warranty. I HIGHLY suggest you go somewhere else than the dealership to do an alignment. Search your local forum section to find a good aligntment shop, the normal firestone place usually doesn't cut it.

This car needs the stickiest tires you can find. Don't try to save by getting cheap tires, you'll regret it on every corner.

Keep the back at OEM width, increase the front to the widest tire you can. I'm at 245 front, 255 rear on my 08 IS-F Wheels. Totally changes the car.
