Agree with these posts 100%. Very sorry for the late response, Wes. I haven't been on here since sometime in December 2012. I've been very busy helping to organize Supras In Vegas (SIV) 2013 and restoring a 1985 Toyota Celica Supra (recently completed) I purchased in last December as well.

Without a doubt, your use of carbon fiber on both your Supra and your IS-F is the best I have ever seen and also the most tasteful. I really like what your body shop did with the rear diffuser and, with the SGM color, it looks very OEMish which are the best kinds of mods, IMO.

I know a LOT of young'uns that wish they were in your son's position.

QFT. Ken is another guy who never half steps and always has done the right things with Supras and his F. Definitely one of the most stand up guys in the Supra community for sure.

High praise, indeed, Lance coming from you, and all the more so from a guy I admire so much. Many thanks for the kind words.

Ken.

@Wesworks Where did you get the black chrome grill surround? I can' find that anywhere! Did you get the chrome window trim to match too? Can't tell from the photos.

The black chrome/pearl grill surround and emblems came from Carson as well. They still have the grill surround listed on their site. I have to believe that there are some cheaper (less expensive) options out there. Maybe try using black pearl instead of black chrome in your search. Also, I would first start a narrowed search in the vendor section. The window trim remains stock chrome.

Well, it looks like I am moving on... but not away. Have decided to sell the IS-F and get an RC-F. I finally drove one the other day and really liked it. Also, I like some of the more modern features it has. I had some concerns about going to a 2-door since this will be my daily driver but was shocked when we got 4 people in the car for my test drive. Granted my salesman was short but, he was still an "adult" (~5'7") and he sat behind me. My 11 year old son sat in the passenger seat and my wife sat in the back. Still looking for the "right" one. Will likely be posting my car up for sale here and on Autotrader by the end of the weekend. I will be parting out a number of items on the car that I will list for sale separately as well. Here are the items I will likely be selling/parting out:

HKS SSM exhaust and HKS mid-pipes - rare full set-up and sounds fantastic
BC Forged HB-S02 wheels in brushed black 19x9 & 19x10.5 with Bridgestone SO-4 265/35 & 295/30 (No curb rash whatsoever on these but the finish is rubbing off in places)
Rear seat center tray in Texalium (silver carbon fiber)
Leather and Texalium and leather shift ****
Leather and Texalium steering wheel

If you really like it, its for sale...

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/2ge...ml#post9260923

Parts that were taken off are now up for sale. Ended up doing the deal earlier than I anticipated. Ended up getting the RC-F last Friday (as noted in my sig). Will post up pics soon. She is now in getting a full front clip clear bra. And you know more mods are coming. Really happy with the car so far.

I like the SO4s but, I thin the AD08Rs are a better tire. I have the yokos on my Supra.
