Default Options for a Front Lip

Hey guys,

Been searching the forums and internet for a reasonable priced front lip for my USB F. I read through some of the threads on here but didn't really get anywhere. If anyone wants to share where and how much it cost their lips, that would be awesome.

Thank you!

Try:

Give them a call. A lot of people have had good transactions with them including myself. You can also find good deals from the classifieds here, you just have to get lucky to catch them.

I've always been a fan of splitters on the IS-F

For the most reasonably priced lip you can always go to Home Depot!

I used to own a Mazda3 s and this was a pretty common thing in the forums I read.

Seriously though, I like the look of splitters as well and there is a thread dedicated them here. I think they would typically be more reasonably priced than a front lip.

I went the splitter route to match the exterior CF theme I was doing on the car and cause it was cheap and I wouldnt feel so bad if I scape it on my driveway cause it was only $120. An alternative to the home depot DIY lip, there is one called the EZ Lip being sold on Amazon:
EZ Lip Universal Front Bumper Spoiler 8.5 Feet : Amazon.com : Automotive EZ Lip Universal Front Bumper Spoiler 8.5 Feet : Amazon.com : Automotive
If you are wanting to go that route. GL with your front lip hunting bro and happy modding!

LOL I hope nobody has ever. I only threw it out there as a comedy suggestion.

Tom's and Arkym are both great options, and they come in a carbon fiber weave. I personally have AutoCouture, as it flows nicely with the lines of the car, and to be honest, I didn't want to mess up anything carbon fiber with the ground clearance decreasing. Some have said to tack on some velcro on the bottom, and while it has worked for some, it hasn't been so forgiving with others.

Definitely see what's available through Carson Toyota/ L Tuned Parts and VIP Auto Salon. You don't necessarily have to go through those channels to purchase a front lip (even though they are both vendors here on the forums for additional discounts), but at least you'll get a sense of what's available and how much they cost at MSRP. Best of luck!

a "cheaper" option would be the areofunction (used to be the ventross design that is no longer available....) google it and you will see pics/pricing. IIRC I bought mine for around $530, but have been waiting for about 3 months for delays due to "delay from the manufacturer" per the company I purchased from.... I hope this doesn''t end up being like my experience with VIP and my near one year saga waiting for my Lexon lip that never appeared and the hassle to finally get my money back... This is a good price, however, for a carbon fiber lip.... which are usually between $1-2K. The latest update is that that they will be getting them by late May.... we shall see. It seems I've been waiting FOREVER for a lip for my F...

Fellow forum member, Simon, pointed these out to me. I think they look fantastic and am seriously considering them. Does anyone have experience with these splitters?

^ I really like the look of those... they appear to be different from most generic splitters in that they seem to be made to fit the ISF. good find!
