Default Question about transmission shifts?

Guys Im not sure if this topic has been covered, I have searched but couldn't find anything.

When driving normally in both manual and auto mode my car most of the time drives smoothly between gears, sometimes though in manual mode (driving sedately) the shifts are harder and it even chirps into second gear, think its more so when car is cold.
If I use WOT in either mode there seems to be a delay in the gears changing. Ive driven other ISF's and they are all the same.
Also when coming to a stop and shifting down from 2nd to 1st in manual mode sometimes the car blips the throttle and slows down smoothly other times it almost locks the rear wheels and doesn't change smoothly or blip the throttle.

Anyone else notice this?

All normal. Especially when cold.

Try to keep the revs under 3 thousand until the car warms (but, to warm the transmission, you gotta drive it, so don't just let it idle to warm up) and you will notice the shifting improves.

see if this happens after the oil temp has risen to 2 or 3 bars.

Thanks for the replies. I don't drive my car hard when its cold and rarely drive it hard even when it's hot. What I mainly wanted to know is why (even when hot) ISF's seem to have a pause between shifting gears on WOT.
Also when coming to. a stop and manually downshifting from second to first it sometimes blips the throttle and smoothly changes to first gear where as other times it seems to bang harshly into first gear without throttle blip.

Mine doesn't have the pause that you describe at WOT. It does have a pause when I'm taking it easy but only from 1st to 2nd.

My 2012 shifts like lightning in manual (F) mode + sport. Warm her up, engage these settings, and crank it up well over 5000 rpm. If the shifts are slow, you many not be locking up your torque converter for direct shifts. Sounds like a service call could be in order.

What do you guys think?

I've only noticed this when in auto mode. In Manual mode, it shifts quickly.
