Yup..just the perimeter all the way around, then used RTV sealant on each end and along the top seal only - just for holding power. I did 4 runs 1/8 of an inch in from the edges, so I only have to peel 4 liner tab's when fitting it.

Sorry no pictures of the 3M Super Strength Molding Tape on the spoiler I forgot

The trick is to just peel an inch of the tape liner (red plastic tape cover) on each of the 4 runs.....Then fit the spoiler and then pull the liner away while the spoiler is in place.......then press and hold. I filled the RTV sealant inside of the tape perimeter. I don't use a lot of sealant just a few small lines. I also used the stuff in the tube they sent me.

Nice write up... I have my wald replica sitting in the box still in the garage since the SFP doesn't match 100%, but rather 80%...still hesitant to put it on because of this! Thanks for sharing the "how to"

Spoiler looks good and nice write-up too!

Where can I purchase the "eraser" for the drill? If it truly doesn't leave any marks on the paint I would much rather use that than my hands and some Goo-Gone.

Any Automotive parts store usually has them...called a "Pin Stripping Wheel". Most shops use them to take the tape off of the inner barrels of rims for old wheel weight tape.

I'll try to put up pictures tomorrow..I ended up redoing my roof spoiler today, and filling in the gaps on the spoiler on the sides.

Does this spoiler make my *** look big?

I didn't like the gaps on the sides....and luckily they make RTV sealant in silver!

I just filled it in to get rid of the black holes.

After

Thanks for looking
