That is correct. Have to step back down to the HKS Y pipe anyway (70mm = 2.75"). I don't expect to see this exhaust make as much as Borla or Joe Z since it is not a true dual setup. However it should be within 10HP or so and the sound is worth it for me. I have had the HKS axle back on for a couple of weeks and I love it! It's actually about 3 - 4 dB quieter than stock inside at highway speeds (60 - 80mph) with zero drone at all. I'm sure this will change a bit with the headers and mid-pipe though.

(2"). BUT, it lives up to its SSM name and I have a feeling the sizing as well as the trumpet muffler set up has a lot to do with that. I actually like the way my F sounds MUCH better than my Supra.

If you're around tomorrow come on over to CIN. Looks like there's already going to be a couple of F's there...

Here's the first vid showing a few free revs. We have some drive by clips also and will get those up soon.
The car is much louder under acceleration but is quiet while cruising and no drone at all. I took some sound level readings over the same stretch of road to minimize road noise impact on the tests. The HKS axle back only is about 3 - 4 dB quieter than stock at cruise speeds (60 - 80) measuring around 72 dB on average. With the full exhaust, the noise level at cruise speed is about the same as stock (75 dB) however any acceleration no matter how slight is louder inside. The sound under acceleration is hard to describe. It's higher pitched than stock and is very metallic. It really is unique. I'm not sure this vid captures all the details but gives you an idea. We are editing the full throttle launch and drive by vids.

Dyno Details:
2009 Mustang MD 1100. The baseline runs were originally performed in 5th gear so we did after pulls in 5th for comparison. We had very similar conditions on both days with very little correction being applied to either run - see graphs for details. In both cases, we performed a couple of pulls to make sure the numbers were consistent, allowed the car to cool down for 30 - 45 minutes, then 2 - 3 pulls back to back. Typically best results came on the 2nd or 3rd pull after cool down.
BTW - my car is '08 with ~75K miles
5th Gear Pulls:
"Run 1" on the dyno report is PPE headers, custom mid pipe, HKS axle back. Car is completely stock otherwise.
"Run 2" on the dyno report is the baseline run from March 29th with HKS axle back only.
Results (all numbers are corrected):
HKS axle back only - 356 / 337
HKS / PPE / Mid Pipe - 381 / 360 with decent gains across the RPM range
6th Gear Results:
We decided to run in 6th gear also to see if there would be any differences - there was.
HKS / PPE / Mid Pipe - 400 / 381
Weswork also came by with his BEAUTIFUL '08 F. He has stock headers with the full HKS system , Tom's drop in filter and HPS intake so we thought it would be a great direct comparison to see . Westley is Run 1 on the report and I am Run 2. These were 6th gear pulls.
