To top off the E63 AMG run, I had just filled the tank to the top, so I was full weight. After reading on the specs, it's shows a 4.1 0-60 and 12.4 in the 1/4 mile. Still curious about that C63 though. He's about to order exhaust too.

Interesting, for I was destroyed by an E63 on the highway while driving the ISF. Granted it was the newer V8TT E63. I floored it past him on a hwy onramp, he got behind me probably 3-4 car lengths, floored it, switched lanes and passed me up like nothing. All the time I had the gas pedal to the floor. By the time I hit 110, he was already 5 car lengths ahead and the gap was widening fast. 100% stock 08 ISF at the time.

We were behind some other cars, but during the turn he was goosing it. So I stayed on his tail holding 2nd gear until we cleared the traffic. I was just waiting to hear that 507hp beast....and then I did. He hit it and so did I. I was behind him in the next lane over. I walked right by him like no other and gave him a good pounding up to 90 or so from 35ish. This happened twice before we hit another stoplight. We just happened to be right next to each other at the light but cars in front of us. The guy wouldn't even look over at me after being destroyed like that. He looked to be in upper 40's and was just acting like nothing happened. VERY happy with how the F had NO problem with it at all. Went by and had lunch with my C63 friend and told him all about it. He was pretty impressed and I'm happy happy happy, in the words of Phil Robertson.

Geeze, what a day! Ran into an Audi R8 just a bit ago, but he wasn't playing. Would've been a perfect ending! Now driving the Escalade so no more fun today.

The last time I was at the drag strip there was a stock ZL1 there. He was consistently trapping around 114+ mph to my 118+. I guess my car was impressive enough he came over for a good 10 minute chat asking what all was done to it and how surprised he was with the performance and consistency. I did several 11.9's back to back that day.

I'm telling you, a FBO IS-F runs like a 500-550 hp sports sedans due to the lighter weight, close ratio, and awesome transmission!

The new TT AMG is a beast though... maybe it was tuned?

Next year's E63 is going to be insane with AWD. I'm guessing 11.5 stock 1/4 under optimal conditions with the performance package...not bad for an obese car.

I'm going to agree with this now. I mean, it's the next day and I'm still shocked at what happened. Can't believe how easily the F overtook the AMG and he got the jump. Just fell in love all over....yet again.

The C63 is something I would actually consider even though it's pricey after options... but the E63... wayyyy overpriced at $100K+. I read on a forum that someone ordered the new one with one option (glossblack roof) and it came out to $99K. With that kind of money I'd buy a used Porsche GT3 and dump $10K into it and make it a track monster.

I actually considered a c63 Amg because they are indeed monsters, but after reading about the law suit Mercedes has on their hands because of the engine failures in these cars, I backed out.
