.....and be prepared to spend a little more on oil changes in the future
Windows - You should be able to preform this function now...the only option on the programming was to have the sun roof open at the same time or not....I guess yours is turned off?

hey jeff thanks for the response. wondering f this has been ask before. is there any diff between the two filters
1.04152-51010 is the IS F filter - This is the one from dealership.
2.(04152-YZZA4 can be used in a pinch - this is the filter that sewell sells. for the is f.
i talk about it here in the 350 forum as well

i apologize if this has been ask before. i did a search and came up with nada.
sewells claims in a email sent to me that a4 can also be used for the is f safely.
found my ans here if any one needs. seems like its been debated alrdy.

so the dealer put in the wrong oil. also noticed some oil leaking around the filter housing. its not dripping or anything but i can see a ring of oil forming around it. should i take care of it now. basically do the oil change myself. or just take it back. seems like every time i go to the dealer .. they fix one problem but make another problem.
for instance 1st time i went for oil change, they put in the wrong oil. 0w20. 2nd time i go they used everything correctly but now i have oil leaking from my filter housing.
is that normal for the is f?

What manual says run thicker oil? Nothing in Lexus documentation says this. If this is a Haynes manual, they really don't know what they're talking about and I would not follow a recommendation like this when the exhaust cam timing is controlled by oil pressure.
This is what the US owner's manual says - there are no 40 weight options at all:
