Not as many American cars are tuned like Germans. Germans have more cars running turbos and crap like that because of all the environmental restrictions over in europe.
American cars, you slap on headers, exhaust, intake, and you get like 100hp+. Supercharge it and tune it and now you've doubled the HP. Damn our cars suck for modding...good thing I don't do any of it

Hopefully HGMS doesnt mistake our eagerness for results as a lack of respect for what they are doing. Alot of us are trying to be patient. If only we have something to look forward to,even if its just some numbers or an idea as to what the unit does or even a price at this point. It'll feed the curiosity of the people for the meantime... right? We're almost halfway through the month and patiently trying to wait to the end to see the finished product. Just give us a taste of what you guys have in store... please?!? LOL
I did notice one thing. HGMS is now a Vendor so thats a good sign right?

What are your current results as of right now? What % increase are you seeing at this time? What A:F ratios? What mods are done to your test car? What dyno are you using? Outside temp? Elevation of your location? Videos of some runs showing some gains?

QFT. Let's be patient and let them do what they need to do. I'm pretty certain if they made claims prematurely and the tune didn't quite meet the reliability and repeatability necessary to keep us all happy we'd have a whole new round of complaining. I'm happy to wait and see. We've waited this long, it surely can't be so important that a few weeks more will be an insurmountable issue.

Let me rephrase what I was trying to say;

So all we can do at this point is speculate until we hear final results at the end of the month.
So...what is everyone expecting from this tune? 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 horsepower? How much are we willing to pay for extra horsepower? 10hp = $300, or 30hp = $600?
I know when I had my 2005 TSX, i was able to have the ECU reflashed. It lowered the VTEC engagement point, increased the rev limit, and increased peak hp and torque. At the time I paid something like $595 (currently it's listed at $295) for the increase. More info can be found here for those that are interested: http://www.hondata.com/reflash_tsx.html. I felt like I got my moneys worth.
So, what are we expecting? What are most of you guys looking for?

The Cobb AP's run about $595, more or less, depending on the vehicle and you can use OTS maps. I wonder if the HGMS unit would be similar and how much they would charge for any additional maps or pro-tunes. For example the Phatbotti Custom Protune for my STI costed me $250 for just a Stage 2+ map.
On the other hand, the Japanese were able to get somewhere with the SARD CUVU
Its only 150,000JPY - 200,000JPY. Converted to dollars, that would make it $1467.57USD - $1956.76USD Yikes!
Hopefully HGMS' tuning solution isnt this pricey. But then again we would have to wait to find out...

even if the tune is 2000 for 50whp, are you guys forgetting how cheap that is for the power? we have guys who spend 700-900 on cool rainbow colored intake pipes, and 2500-3000 dollars on jdm ti exhaust that makes 5whp.

^ True something is better than nothing and no one ever said we wouldn't be willing to pay the price for a legitimate tune. I would most definitely pay the money... but only if the gains were worth the money is all that im saying and im sure others would agree. With all this talk of a tuning solution is making the month seam so long... LOL

not to offend any of the previous posters, but the ISF competition is more along the line of a c63/m3. Therefore an ISF tune should run along the same lines as those cars.
For the c63/m3, most tunes are +$1000; therefore i would expect an ISF tune to be nearer to the 1k mark instead of $500

So if what you are saying is true, that should bring the ISF at around 430 - 435rwhp with full bolt-ons and the "tune".
