Finally got my IS-F!
Well I've been hanging around here for a while researching before I decided the IS-F was going to be next car. As many of you I too was looking at the C63 and M3, but the IS-F was what I wanted nothing too flashy but still unique and of course 4 doors and a V8. My previous car was a 2008 Subaru WRX that I modded heavily (blouch dom 3xtr, e85 tune, 6MT STi trans, and etc.) until my good friend crashed it joyriding while I was taking a nap. Well long story short he got arrested, the insurance company totaled out the car and I also received money from him. Which then led me to my purchase.
I was originally looking at a MRM 2011 IS-F w/ no ML package with 17k miles for $57k OTD but the fleet manager at Fremont Lexus called me and told me about the MM 2012 IS-F w/ML with 1600 miles for $59k OTD so I checked it out and loved it. It even had tint which is handy for when I travel to AZ in a few weeks and it had those BBS optional wheels that I liked. Unfortunately the tails, reflector, badging and tips are painted black which I actually enjoyed chrome which went well with the silver. But I can live with it for now. I was in a bit of a crunch and needed to get into a new car and I am glad I was able to get a good deal on the car!
I took these with my iPhone so excuse the quality

Congratulations. I just got mine in November and love it! Very nice Subie as well. Love it. Too bad it met it's demise. I had a modded '07 STi before the IS-F and enjoyed every moment of my nearly 6 years of ownership.

Awesome looking Subie. Congrats on the new ride though, I love the wheels and the emblems/tails look great with that color. I'd say that decision to get this one was a no brainer! What else do you have planned?

Nice F! I see there were some nice aesthetic mods to the car. I agree, I also like the look of the chrome accents on the car. Looks great with MM. Any future mods planned?

Thanks guys for the kind words! Yeah he is my former friend as for my car I plan on getting PPE headers, HKS SSM exhaust, JoeZ intake (or Blitz if I can find/afford it), TOMs front lip, skirts and diffuser, WALD trunk lip and mold it, KW V3 and some Vossen CV3s or CV7s. That's all I have planned for now!
