+1 I I'm holding out for a gen 2 ISF and if it never happens I will have to look elsewhere

Is this USA Today article the only proof anyone has seen? Let sure hope it's just a hiatus!

That is encouraging to hear! Curious why Lexus wouldn't market it that way though?

For the exact reasons we see in this thread. If people speculate there is no new IS-F coming, they wont wait and will buy the current one. In addition, it would help keep the value of the current IS-F up. Either way, good sales tactic

It looks official but where's the source? Just because USA Today wrote about it doesn't mean it's the be all end all.

+91 on this....until it comes from Lexus and the car is no longer on their website...don't trip potato chip.

BTW...anyone look at the Lexus Website? http://www.lexus.com/performance/

The IS F is still the marquee car even though the LFA is one of their cars. F is here to stay...hopefully not F-Sport only.

Perhaps, but the anticipation and new F purchases could likely more than offset 2013 sales by people who fear this is it. Plus Lexus may also run the risk of losing the F faithful. Some buyers prefer to buy a model with a guarantee of longevity. Imagine if BMW suggested the M3 wouldn't return in a given year, without explaining when it would be back? Add to this uncertainty the empty promises about the GS-F etc. My fear is Lexus is waiting to monitor across the line sales of IS models before they commit to the next gen IS-F. I hope I'm wrong and we see an announcement soon!

Someone please tell me they are just renaming the IS-F or doing the "Totally redesigned" marketing thing. I've been waiting on purpose for the new ISF and not buying the current model. Someone go grab the news paper! QUICK!

P.S - This is not an attempt to scare anyone, I just want the facts!

Edit - I forgot to add he said its in the money section. Go quick!
I expect to see a comparable Supercar in the lineup, but for more bucks.

Roomer has it that the cars cost much more to build than the $70k paid for the top loaded vehicle.
