After actually seeing the car from underneath I'm not even sure how people touch the headers with the extension. Mine are literally not even remotely close. Maybe 4"+ from the header at the closest point. I'd say the connecter itself(oem to extension up top is the closest it comes.)

I am having the same issue as everyone else on here, I guess my installer is an amateur My installer was telling me it could be the o2 conditioner. I have extra sets of o2 sensors just in case. If I wanted to change out the o2 sensor out does the sub frame need to come off?

Please email me what codes you are getting and I would be happy to help you figure out what the problem is.
(No the sub frame doesn't have to come off to change the sensors)

So far so good for me. Since the extension replacement, I haven't had any problems. I'm thinking the connection went bad - my wires were not melted or crushed in any way.

Kudos to PPE for great customer service, I just had mine installed this week & drove the car for the first time today & all 4 lights went off while driving on a bumpier road (VSC, !, Check engine, traction). I took a cell phone pic & emailed Paul late this evening & received an email back surprisingly fast. I will find out tomrw which code # is displayed when I have the tech run a scan on the car. Hoping this will be resolved quickly.
