Default 2008 Obsidian Black ISF in SoCal

Hi guys!!! finally got some time to introduce myself to the public!! I got my isf like 3 weeks ago in Texas... (it was worth the 1k miles from my place to get the car) I'm the member of VW MK6 forum!!!

Here are some pics of my previous ride!! Some major mods include European Bumper, European LED taillights, Miro rims, DG springs, Revo stage 1, S3 intercooler, and Apr CF intake!!! Car was sold before I got my ISF!

Here are some pics of my bone stock 08 ISF

Before I took off from Texas

A rolling shot from my friend from behind (personally I think this is the best angle of this car)

Have not updated my thread in a while.

Here are some updates on my F

Interior LED all around (my bad on the bad iphone pics)

Next up Joez Exhaust installed

Ohlins Coilovers Installed

2011-2012 LEXUS ISF Steering Wheel ECU installed

Plastidip Wheels and emblems

Vossen CV3 19'' and Vredestian front 245/35/19 rear 275/30/19 installed

Don't know what will be next yet. maybe that's it for my F.

Congrats on the purchase! Polished F wheels and the new LED headlamp unit- pretty good look. I'm pretty sure they're the '08 ones polished, but I think they're on the wrong sides. Each F wheel is specific to a corner, and judging from the blade direction, they should be switched with the right sides.

Any mods planned? How was the ride from Texas? Sweet looking MK6! My friend was thinking of getting an MK6, but stumbled upon a 20th annivesary edition MK4 and simply loves that particular model.

I'm gonna keep it as it is for now as it's a major upgrade from a mk6 gti and I'm really enjoying this car right now!!! The only thing that I'm considering doing is getting a set of ISF 10 11 rims as I'm not a fan of this chrome look on the rims right now..... btw, are you saying that the front wheels should be switched from the left to the right or the back wheels??
THANK YOU

I've seen a few members have their wheels polished to have that chrome look. The wheels should be mounted opposite as they are currently, presuming I'm looking at the pics right. It is hard to tell, as the polished look really blends the blade into the entire spoke, but the left front and rear should be mounted on the right front and rear respectively. You'll have a better sense once you dismount the wheels and see the symbols FL, FR, RL, RR.

now I know what you're saying!!!! No wonder I felt weird driving on my way back from Texas.... I thought it was because the wheel alignment tho the alignment was off when I took it to my local tire shop!!! Can it be a major issue?? I hope it doesn't affect anything to the car as I've been rolling with this since I got the car..... Thanks for the heads-up

I don't personally like the chrome polished finish but it is different.

Driving with the directional rims on the wrong side isn't a major problem. Just get it swapped to the right side when you get a chance.
