So i was contemplating on what type of spacers to get and decided that I prefer the safety features of the HR (Vs Ichi's or Akata's), however this is my first Lexus and I don't know how difficult it is to replace the oe wheels studs with longer H&R ones. Is it a royal PITA, one that requires removal of the brake caliper?
I also don't know if removing the studs from the F's rotors is different that from a ISx50...

P.S. I would be putting on spacers all around.

Just got a quote of $350 because they apparently have to take apart and reassemble the brakes. Is this a rip?

removing the calipers and the rotors is a must. i did it on my ISF. I also had ran the other style spacer where you dont need to remove the stud and i didnt have any problem with them even at high speed, but im sure many people out there are against it. your car, your chose. GL.

I have extended studs and spacers as well. It does require the removal of the calipers and rotor for installation.

I would stay away from akata spacers with extended studs. Mine basically spun a stud inside the spacer while on the wheel, leaving it spinning while I tried to remove the lug and wheel. Needless to say I had to grind off the lug to get the wheel off. Their customer service said they'd send me a new spacer, too bad they just stopped replying to my emails instead. Shady company.

Why are you moving to a 255? I'm on 15 mm spacer, lowered on Swift springs running a 275 PSS in the rear. NEVER rubs.

Do you have any close up pics of the front (what size do you run up front) and the rear? I was told that I would maybe rub after a posted a close up pic of my 275s. I just wanted to be on the safe side.

Here's the rear...keep in mind, if youre running a 275/30/19 that your overall diameter is about 1/2" smaller than running the stock size.

This is lowered on Swift springs...not sure if you're lowered or not.

My front is still a stock 225 that came on the car new. I haven't changed it out yet, but will be going with a 245.

Thanks for thr pics. If your rear was lower and the tire was slightly tucked under, would it hit the fender lip or just tuck under it? I'll retake some pics of my lowered setup.

here's what it looks like, I'm a bit tucked in the rear so it will be so close, and I just have a feeling that it'll rub. I'm going to go with 275-30-19 Michelin PSSs
