it's been a year owning the F, and after much contemplation, the hairpin trigger had to be pulled!
just so happened that the diffuser install would fall on the same day as the headers

Glad it seems like you'll be able to make it fit! Interested to hear how the install process goes.

I'm waiting to get back into town to install my Wald rear diffuser. I had the DES, but was also concerned about the same thing. Anyone with ISS Forged exhaust and Wald diffuser that can chime in about the install? I plan to remove my rear bumper to properly install and bolt on the diffuser.

I've seen it installed with the ISS exhaust in some pictures, but curious if there were issues or things to keep in mind like you guys with ISS exhaust and Toms diffuser.

I can understand removing the axle-back portion to install the diffuser, but I say go for it and after a quick drive see if you see any rubbing or marks on the diffuser. Then figure out how to protect it. But the tips stick out far enough that you shouldn't have black marks...it's really just an issue of hot exhaust tips rubbing.
The toms diffuser wraps in on the exhuast opening taking up a little bit of space

I hear that the TOMs and WALD diffusers are really, really snug and the exhaust and the diffuser pretty much touch and vibrate at the same time against each other.

yep the tips WILL be touching the diffuser.. also when i installed mine, its was a PITA.

I was recently rear ended which damage the diffuser along with a bunch of other things. I since just recently received my new rear diffuser and also ordered a front Toms lip, and once my car is back front the shop, im not sure if i want to run that exhaust anymore with my new diffuser. You cant really tell from the picture, but the diffuser is pretty much gone.

hi guys.

test fitted to see if Tom's would go onto the iss pipes w/o the bumper on, and I was disgruntled because it couldn't. But after forcing it on, the diffuser "slipped" or rather budged in.

I was considering cutting some of the CF from the exhaust area, but thankfully (and hopefully) I wont have to when I put the bumper back on. I'll be installing it tomorrow.

**also I'll be installing LED reflectors from iJDMtoy...finally wired everything through and black silicon epoxied any open areas (b/w bumper and reflector)

wiring for the led reflectors wired to the tail light/and brake light.

*if anyone has any questions about bumper removal, I'd be glad to help; just pm me.

Looks good! I'm waiting for the next shipment of diffusers to come in before I can install mine. This may be a stupid question but it seems like you are missing the weather stripping along the edges??

I'm not even sure what you mean
I got the diffuser shipped from the US tom's vendor, and "slapped" it on

Prezjay is right. You are missing the weather stripping that comes with the diffuser. It comes in a set of black and a grey one. I had two toms diffuser and both came with the weather stripping. Car look great tho
