I've always hated seeing countless "will these fit" threads on car forums. But I have done a few hours of research and I can't find anyone with the same wheel sizes and offsets as I have, so I am resorting to asking the opinion of some of the wheel gurus on here. I want to get wider tires and I want to make sure they will fit without any rubbing. Here's what I have now:

F: 19x8.5 +45 with 245/40R19
R: 19x10 +50 with 275/35R19

I want to replace them with 255/35R19 in front and 295/30R19 in back. Am I going to have any rubbing with those sizes? I know there are guys on here running 10.5" and 11" wheels in back with 295's and no rubbing, but they have higher offsets. I couldn't fine anyone with a 10" wheel and 295 tires with offsets similar to mine. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

If you're replacing the tires only then you can just look at the tire you have now on the car and see if there's enough space for more tire.. If the tire on your car is close to the fender then you'll have a harder time fitting a 295 on it. Imo a 295 on a x10 is pretty meaty. If you asked me if I think it fits without rubbing... I say no it won't and will rub unless you adjust your camber.

It also depends on how low you are as well..

The front will be fine with 255/35R19. 19x10 +50 with 295/30R19s might rub a little, but nothing minor fender modification won't fix. It will also depend on the exact dimensions of the tire you want to use. A wide tire like the Michelin PSS might require trimming to fit. If you are at a stock height, you might fit it without any fender mods at all and only rub minimally on large bumps with rear passengers.

I think you will be fine running a 295mm tire on those rims...as long as you don't mind minor fender modifications if necessary and your suspension isn't slammed...it will be close.

I did see that thread in my research, but his wheels are 1" wider in front and 1/2" wider in back and he also didn't list the offsets.

I am not a wheel guru, but I would be surprised if you DIDN'T rub in the rear with that offset, wheel and suggested tire size. I also would bet that as long as you're on stock suspension, all you will need is a mild rear fender roll to make everything fit. As someone already said, not all tires are the same width even if they have the same specs listed on the side. What tire manufacturer and type are you looking at?

I'm getting the Vredestein Ultrac Sessenta tires, which do have a bit of a "rim saver" lip on them that sticks out from the sidewall. So by the sound of things I'll probably just need to plan on having some minor fender modification done once they are installed.
