Coming from and 2007 IS 350, I enjoyed the IS 350 comfortable ride. The 2012 IS-F definitely has more power, handles better and is a lot funnier but I wish sometimes the stiff suspension could be softer to be more comfortable like the IS 350. The ISF also has better seats but not more comfortable seats.

Is there a seat cushion that would dramatically increase comfort ?

Because is high performance car of the IS line , build at the track , suspension is tuned and set up differently than IS350

The is-f seats are comfortable I think. Drove 4k miles in the F without any issuses . But that just me, also what kody said.

I think the ISF seats are very comfortable for a performance car, the only seats I found more comfortable is a M5 which is twice the price

My wife and I are in the market for cars and ISF is so far the most comfortable (our opinion) compared to the following cars:
- GS350 and 450H
- ES
- RX350 Sport

FYI - wify is 7 months prego and if she thinks 12 ISF is comfortable it's comfortable.

I only get complaints about the back seat being stiff and bouncy. And that is only from my family but when they get to ride up front they all love it.

The F seats definitely hold you in your seat. My '08 F is pretty comfortable for me, but for those with back trouble, I can understand how difficult it would be riding in my car for long. I have a Tempur-Pedic seat and back cushion for my parents, who often ride in the car, as well as any of my friends who have back issues. Also, you can install coilovers and alter the settings to a more comfortable setting.
