When I installed my coilovers, the OEM I believe was stamped Sachs.

The New Car Features says the shocks were changed in 2012 and 2013. Not sure why your 2012 has Sachs, when everything I have seen said the Sachs shocks showed up in 2013, but I could have bad info as well.

Hello to everyone!

My name is Mikhail and I'm russian owner of an ISF for the last 4 years and I watchin all the forums and your articles and comments - appreciate thi kind of content, it's really helpful!

Right now I'm struggling for info about KW V3 springs replacement options. Previously I used swift springs on my stock shocks and after I have change it for KW V3. After yeaar of using it seems to me too soft, the spring rates are 11/8 kg's, but Im looking for 14/10 or higher to make improvements. I know that swift springs has their spring set up for BC coils, but what about KW? What setup swift can offer for KW, is it possible to make this replacement?

Thanks in advance and best regards!

If had an option I would absolutely go with the higher rates for best overall handling. Just make sure you have the rubber for the upgrade. If not the car could get loose in the rear and start over steering.

I'd be interested to know too. It's nice for the comfort but the stiffer springs should benefit. Just wondering if revalving is needed.

I am soon to be replacing my 08 ISF shocks, looking at BC coils, I want better ride quality than the 08 set up , dont want lowrider bouncy- stiff riding - jarring ride so I have a few questions for those that have these now and have had some seat time

1 - durability- will these last like a OEM

2 - I see a lot of 16/12 - and some 14/10 , whats going to better for a OEM type ride or better

3 - swift sprigs for the above ? yea or nea, I will probably lower car 1/2 " in front and same or less in back

Have BC 14/12 with swift springs. Ride is way better than the oem 08.
Since you only plan on lowering 1/2" the 14/10 should work well , anything lowering than1" get the 16/12 set up.

Crazy thing is even if they have issues, they are easier to replace and more cost effective than any other company. Rebuilds are a huge PIA especially for a DD vehicle.
