Fig's recent track day video got me thinking that I never posted this video from last season's last track day... this is my fastest lap so far!
Hope you enjoy!

I'm hitting 120mph +/- on the longer straight.... The video is from my iPhone however and not a GoPro. I hope to get one of those this spring though! You can overlay the GPS/Speed/accelerometer/gear/RPM/etc. data onto any external video taken with any type of camcorder however....

thanks! are you talking about the bullseye looking thing with the dot moving around? if so, that's the accelerometer showing direction and amount of g's..... that data comes from the built in accelermoter built into the iphone.
thanks!
thanks! It is addicting.... just a warning for anyone who hasn't taken their F to the track yet and is planning on it! LOL
Yes! I love the app.... very cool. I didn't know about it now "connecting" somehow to the GoPro now... that's good to know! I thought you still had to externally overlay the data/video using a PC and other software.

Wow, nice driving and that lap timer is amazing! So that is all running off just an iphone? I see there is no such offering on Android right now.
How do you like the 16/12s with the Swift addition? I just ordered the same setup as well.

and an external GPS unit that refreshes at 5hz as opposed to the iphone internal GPS that refreshes at 1 hz (so more accurate gps data/timing)
I like them (BCR/swift) except for some noise coming from the right rear setup on bumps....

yes that is all running off the iphone, but i do have a GoPoint BT1 module that plugs into the car that sends the car's data to the iphone (for throttle, gear, rpm, wheel speed, etc)

On the noise, do you know the cause yet? Anything specific you are going to be doing to try to fix it?
Thanks,
Kevin
