Borla vs cat/muffler delete
#16
There are a few clips on YouTube of inside cabin sound of Borla exhaust, it's a blue F and clips are short, less than 25 seconds. Like most vids audio is very poor and no doubt does not give true sound. Unless u can hear a system in person ur out of luck pretty much. Some people say Borla is too quiet but guy I bought mine from said people say it was too loud, everybody will have different opinion

My Borla cat back arrived this morning and I had my mechanic put it on. Overall impression is it is exactly what I was hoping for. At idle it is a low growl that is a little above stock sound, nothing rattles on inside of cabin at all. Upon acceleration the exhaust really comes alive maintaining it's thick v8 growl that really sounds amazing with the windows down. In manual mode the downshifts sound like they should have sounded from the factory and WOT is awesome. Exhaust gets attention but not in an obnoxious way. I am really glad I did not go with muffler/cat delete cause the volume of this exhaust is perfect for me

If anyone is interested, I am selling a complete muffler delete system. It is a good option as you still get to keep your original muffler system. You can even swap back and forth in your own garage easily. Also, you can always opt to leave the cats in if you want to tone down the sound volume.

Which I totally explained to them. I told them the secondary cats aren't even monitored. Each shop just pointed at their stupid sign that says any modifications to emissions systems can bring a huge fine. I've tried, I've given up unless someone knows another shop in Atlanta that will do it.
