Happy New Year to all my ISF brothers & sisters.

Before the new year started, two ISF owners (vbb, lexsane) and I made a resolution to organize possibly the biggest ISF meet in the U.S. (and possibly the world?) Let's break the record!

The meet will be held on April 27, 2013 at Dover Downs Casino in Delaware, since it is central to most Northeast ISF's. The rain date will be a week later, May 4, 2013. So, I don't want to hear any excuses, this is a long while away and gives people time to plan.

Please confirm by posting, come up with central meetup locations, and I will adjust this original post accordingly.

I want to stress, please be on time at the meetup locations. We don't want to leave anyone behind, as we all have long drives.

Caravan from the north: (Sunoco @ Walt Whitman Rest Area) Take Walt Whitman rest area exit and proceed until you see Sunoco. I will make sure everyone parks near the highway so we are visible.

*Everyone please bring your walkies or purchase one. If people have more than one, please bring as many as possible. We need to be aware of cops/potholes, LOL. We also don't want anyone left behind. We will be using CHANNEL 4*

*Please bring your Snell 2005+ helmets if you want to hit the track after the meet.*

Agenda!

• Early morning: Meet up at the various caravan spots and begin the drive down
• 12pm: Begin arriving at the meetup location. Given different traffic and trip times, we'll give ourselves an hour or two to gather in the parking lot, meet each other, take some pics, etc.
• 1pm: Eat at the restaurant. Hang out. Talk cars.
• 2:30pm: Take a scenic drive over to the bay to take some group pictures.
• 3pm: Arrive at the bay/park. Take pictures. Post frantically to Club Lexus bragging about how many cars we have present.
• 4pm - 6pm: BREAKOUT session. Some will start heading back home at this point. Some may want to go Karting somewhere. Some may head to visit family. Some may hit the track. Those of us who want to do a little card playing, gambling, grab a drink etc (21 and up, obviously) can have some fun at Dover Downs.

Thanks for going ahead and posting this up Vijay! The plan is for multiple caravans to form with us all meeting in Dover. I will definitely organize the caravan for those of us coming from the Virginia Beach area. Looking forward to developing this plan as the date approaches.

Guess I'm the second from the VB area so guess we will start our cruise north in April. Kevin maybe we could meet up a week or two prior at the go kart place to discuss our routes. I'm stoked cant wait to see that many Fs in one place, great choice in venues as well, would be really cool if we could get some shots on the track. Probably a pipe dream but we were able to at Texas with a car club there back in 2004, regardless of that I can't wait.

After speaking with a Vbb who lives in VA, we came to an agreement that this location is central for most ISF's. Depending on the responses I get, the location may change, but it's unlikely. You should join Vbb's caravan that he is organizing, the 4 hr drive will seem like 2

Vijay and I kicked some ideas around over email during the past couple of months, and I actually suggested Dover because it is pretty central for those coming from the NY Metro area and those of us down here in at the southern edge of VA.

If you want to try and get the best attendance, you have to pick a place that is a central as you can find to the most people. We proved that we can get 10 from just VA/DC/MD alone, and I'm sure they can get that many from the NY/NJ/CT area. We may pull in a few from as far south as NC, and a few from as far north as New England too.

I have been to Dover a few times. It's a pretty easy, non traffic heavy drive from Virginia Beach. I was thinking something around the Baltimore area, but that's just as far without traffic. Plus, I will probably hang at the casino for awhile after the meet and get a little poker in.

Thats 8 hours from me... i would totally go with a closer location, maybe i could swing it with a weekend trip or something. if anyone wanted to meet along the way for the cruise it would be more appealing. Put me in for a maybe.

It would be awesome to get all the colors together for this meet. We almost accomplished it during our Richmond meet but missed Starfire Pearl. It would be cool too if we can get a Nebula Gray to show up as well!

If you are uncomfortable staying at the hotel right there in the casino, Wilmington is less than an hour away, and Philly is just past that. Plenty of options are around.
