Default New ISF member needing mods

Hey guys, im new to this forum, i just picked up an 08 lexus ISF cpo in matador red. so far i am in absolute love with the car... so i talked to Clark over at VIPauto Salon, and he hooked me up with a Joe z intake, joe z full exhaust and ppe headers, as well as an apexi throttle controller. are there any other engine mods that are worth doing to get more power?, obviously aside from forced induction.
any help would be appreciated...
thanks again guys

Congrats on getting an F! The intake/exhaust/header combo will yield a good amount of HP, but aside from that, there isn't much to do with regards to gaining even more power. The throttle controller will definitely make your driving more engaging, from what I've heard. Enjoy your F!

Congratulations on your purchase! And I must say you are a brave man purchasing from VIP... I am in the local area and commute into DC for work.

If you're patient (and if all goes well with testing) you may want to wait for a tune that is currently being developed by a couple ambitious individuals out there. Do a quick search for NOVEL for the latest info.

And I agree, you're very brave dropping a couple thousand dollars worth of stuff purchased from VIP as a lot of people including me have experienced sketchy service from them, but it's all good if they came through for you. Best of luck to you and happy holidays!

yeah i have seen some of Novels products on the net, there exhausts sound amazing, but VERY expensive. i would love to see a good tune for our car, it would make having forced induction worth while....
yeah i didnt know where else to go for performance, the guy clark i was dealing with sounded pretty cool, got to speak to him over the phone, i havent got my stuff yet, but i can only hope i dont get my order elongated...

Welcome. I would have sold you my swift springs. Get a sikky rear sway bar and don't touch the front.linea course wheels look good and are 1700 for a set.

Dont waste your $$$ and time with spring. Coilover is the way to go, u can set or adjust any setting , soft to hard. and ride height.

Don't go with a set if cheap-o wheels! You could face all kinds of problems and most important put yourself and others in danger. I am sure your not looking into eBay wheels per say but just throwing that out there. Get a good quality wheel that you know you can trust.

What type of driving do you plan on doing with your car? Some of those mods will serve you no purpose but just look cool installed depending on your intended use of the car.
