Congrats on the car! The car is beautiful.

I am currently in the market and wanted to know if you can kindly pm me what type of discount you received on the car. I appreciate it.

Very nice indeed! The rims appear to be the same as on my '12 which I like even more than the ones on my previous '09 IS F. Did you get the Alcantara seat inserts or are they all leather? Either way you are going to enjoy this amazing car, especially after the drivetrain is broken in. When I bought my '12 I was told that a special order IS F would not be discounted. Was this the case for you or were they just BS'ing me.

I agree, the IS F is not a common car at all. When I bought my '12 it was the only one the dealership had. The manager said that they only get two a quarter so I assume that the incentive to deeply discount them isn't there though they are willing to negotiate the final price, especially if they know that you're serious and have the means to purchase it. Also, I have about 1500 miles on mine now and the more I drive it, the more I like the Alcantara so enjoy your new '13 IS F.

Very nice car, congrats on the purchase!

If you have predetermined that you won't be touching the suspension or exhaust, then you're probably not going to be doing much as far as mods go. That's not a bad thing... the car is fantastic right out of the box... it is just that it is very limited in terms of what modifications you can do, and suspensions and exhaust are two of the three or four things you can really do. The exhaust systems for this car (headers all the way back) can give you pretty nice HP gains and definitely a louder sound, but most of them aren't cheap and the ones that give you power are likely going to do so at the expense of emissions equipment that you need to pass visual inspection and/or smog testing. There's no denying that the mods work, but there are some downsides to consider. If you just want a deeper sound, you can mod the exhaust from the secondary cats back, and/or remove the mufflers. That won't give you much by way of power though.

Anyway, sorry for the long-winded response. You're going to love the car!
