I saw this one being followed by Lexus IS350 and all three cars had Michigan Plates.

Correct, that is indeed the next Lexus IS (3IS).

There are similar covered photos in the 3IS thread (in the car chat subforum).

You can see a little bit more detail because the covering more "tightly" hugs the actual car in the gmotors.co pictures.

They knew I was taking pictures. He actually, I felt, did me a favor cause I can clearly remember we began to decelerate as low as 50 mph.

Still way too much wheel gap on the base IS model (IMO).

That's true for pretty much every base entry level luxury sport car model (335i, G37, C350, A4).

I've always wondered this, and I know someone here can shed some light on it...but why do "manufacture" cars always have Michigan plates on them even if they don't have manufacturing facilities in Michigan?

I'm so anxious about this car. My lease on my 2IS ends next Summer and Im planning to hit up one of the auto shows to see the 3IS before my lease end. I really want an IS-F, been wantin one the second I knew it existed. I love the current one so much Im not even sure I'd like the next haha. But im waitin on the 3IS to come out as i'm guessing the next IS-F will look similar in the exterior styling.
