I would like to get my F window tinted. What is the best film on the market? Any suggestion?

IMO, Huper Optik if you don't mind shelling out good money for it.

3M is always good stuff though, especially for the price.

I've got 3M window tint and clear bra. Never had a problem and highly recommend it.

I got mine tinted a month back with 3M - the tint place recommended the cyrstalline tint. Its supposed to block off heat better. So far, no complaints. I went with 50% to avoid random tickets

I like Huper Optik as well. It's not as dark as some of the other brands, but the heat protection is superb. I agree, price-wise it is not cheap, but the quality and performance live up to its expectations.

I've never really cared what brand or type I get besides it being priced right and looking good...it's more about finding a good and reputable shop to do it. The good ones use high quality tint and do it right. You do have choices over how much UV protection you want so that's a factor.

I did call some places around my town but they do not carry 3M and Huper Optik .

My local shop also carries 3M Crystalline, which is supposed to be the best 3M film on the market. Apparently it enhances vision at night by acting as like almost sun glass lenses in the sunglight (makes things clearer and crisper). Prolly a gimmick though. The price quote for all windows was $620, while the Color Stable is $300.

Do not by Huper Optik it was never designed for automotive use. However, it is a great film and is fine on windows that the film doesn't need to be formed too. It's great on the side window's but terrible on the rear as it loses its heat blocking abilities when heated and formed to the rear window. If you're going just for looks, any quality tint will be fine 3M, Llumar or any quality film. If you want performance, 3M Crystalline can't be beat. You must tint your front window and sunroof if you want to block heat out of the car otherwise you'll feel like it's not working and think you wasted your money. Crystalline comes in 90,70,60,50, & 40%. My recommendation is 40% on all windows (which is 50 state legal) and 70% on the windshield (which is 50 state illegal). The thing is I had this done on my last 3 cars and you absolutely cannot tell the windshield is tinted with 70% you can do 90% which offers decent heat rejection. Honestly you can't tell a difference between 90 and 70 when installed and the 70 offers much better heat rejection.
