It's not 14 years but I had a Celica GT-S for the last 7 years before I got my ISF! It took a while to get used to the HP increase (from 180 to the crank to 416!) and I've definitely seen the decrease in MPG but the car is so fun to drive that I don't care lol, it is worth every penny. If I had a chance to buy a newer F, it would have been difficult to choose between USB and Nebula Gray.

Congratulations on the purchase and welcome to the ISFamily! Drive it the way it is meant to be driven!

Wow, that looks fantastic. Love the color! Props to you for having the patience and discipline to drive the same 'ole Civic for 12 years while paying down/off debt and saving for your IS-F. That's very respectable.

Is a HUGE upgrade over the damn Honda Civic I've been driving for almost 14 years, which was nice not having a car payment, however the upgrade was way overdue.
Welcome to the family!

FOURTEEN years in a CIVIC!!! Man, if I could have driven just ONE car for fourteen years, I could have bought myself a Ferrari or Turbo S by now. But I'm so damn stupid I keep on changing cars. Having said that, the IS-F is my OLDEST car I've ever owned (March 2013 it will be FIVE years!) which says a LOT of the IS-F. I still can't find a better car!
I'm the same exact way! I've had my IS F for just a little over 4 years now. Longest car I've ever owned. I want to change cars again, but there's nothing out there really catching my eye. I think the next car for me will be a Porsche.

Congrats man! The fact that you were disciplined enough to keep your old car for so long is commendable. And means that you'll probably take real good care of the F!

Congrats on the ride! Do you happen to drive through Cobb County at all? I saw an IS-F the other day that looked just like yours on Barrett Parkway.

I do drive through Cobb as my mom lives in Smyrna, but haven't been down there with the car yet.
