Default What fluids do you all use.

I think this could be a really great thread with some good info.

I everyone could please put what type of transmission fluid, brake fluid, etc.. Also how often do you change them all and do you like them? Are they good for track use?

Also what additives go you all use?

Motor Oil - Motul 5w30 - Debating on pushing it to 10k intervals with 1 filter and then do an analysis
Brake Fluid - Motul RBF600 - last change was at 25k
Trans Fluid - OEM for now
Diff - OEM until i hit 60k
Coolant - OEM

Always been a fan of Motul fluids and i like them a lot

I don't think trans fluid is ever changed on the F. I use Lucas diff oil - 75w90. I plan on sticking with OEM on coolant with Lucas super coolant additive. I really like Lucas products and use their upper cylinder lubricant too. I use Mobil 1 oil.

Mobile 1 oil, ATE super blue brake fluid( goes to Motul RBF600 next flush) I use the blue to confirm the first flush is complete.
Still have the original trans, diff and coolant fluids. I would recommend staying with OEM Toyota coolant/distiller water and maybe a bottle of Redline water wetter. I would also strongly recommend staying with the OEM trans fluid when the time comes. Gear oil is preference/ application based (I.E. OEM or OS Giken diff)

FYI guys, our trans fluid is a lifetime fluid. This has been discussed before, but most dealerships dont even have a protocol for it from what I remember reading.

Coolant - no choices - you need to run the OEM pink stuff
Transmission - no choices - if you really want to screw up your gearbox fast, use something other than Toyota WS fluid.

Brakes - I run Brembo LCF. I bleed it before every track weekend. I've never had a problem with brake fluid when the VSC was off. If you don't track your car, just use a decent DOT 3 fluid and follow the factory recommendations - they're likely overkill anyway.

Differential - probably one of the most over-serviced items on a street car. Only really necessary if you get water in it or you drag race a lot. Choice of oil isn't nearly as important as making sure whatever oil you choose meets Lexus minimum specs. The average driver could go 300k miles with the factory fill and be fine.

No additives of any kind. I've used Red Line Water Wetter in my Supra but only as an anti-corrosive because I run 20% coolant and 80% distilled water in the cooling system. I have not seen it deliver the claims made for it. Adding anything to your oil is pointless unless you are a tribologist and know exactly what you are doing and why.

Same here, I only use water wetter when increasing the distiller water. In a 50/50 mix I have also never seen it decrease temps in well sensored motors I've had temp issues with.
Toyota does a good job with there fluid selection in general. Brake fluid and engine oil are the only things to really shop around for based on usage.

I see everyone uses RBF600 for brakes. Is it just by far the best fluid?

I use Mobil 1 full synthetic 5W-30 and factory fluids for everything else.
