How much is this fix? So many things are popping up as issues with these cars.

It is fully covered under the warranty. I'll post back when I get the receipt.

They're also doing a recall on the emergency latch in the trunk and something with the wiper blades which I had already seen.

Hi guys, are the bolts accessible from under the hood? I haven't really taken a close look since I've had the car for only two weeks. All I've done so far is drive it I''d like to check these screws/bolts before they back out. Thanks!

I got mine back. The service rep said it would've been $550.

They replaced:
Fan
Motor, Cooling Fan
Super Long Life Cool

I'd like to know as well. I looked under the hood but didn't see an easy way to look at these fans.

Default Re: the 3 screws in the fan motors

Do these "3" screws hold the fan blades to the motors or mount the motors - going to check mine - sorry have not looked at the configuration yet ?

Thanks !

^^ There are 3 small screws that bolt down the fan motors to the shroud..

You can only access them from the front side once the fan blades are actually removed from the motor..

Honestly it's a PITA..!!
