Default Cusco Front Strut Bar Installed

Hey guys,

Just got the cusco front strut tower bar from charles at b2designs.
install wasn't too hard (took about 10minutes),
bar did look good without the plastic engine covers on
everything fit fine w/o any spacer modification or anything of that nature

Finally cut into the plastic engine covers, the bar fits flush, you'd mistake it for oem

overall, good buy.
you feel the bar only during, as lexus would say, "high-spirited driving"
but I am very pleased

I took all the plastic garbage off my motor. I like to inspect things every month...see if any leaks, etc..

It looks great! But I guess it'll be a pain to remove the engine cover when I go to the track.

Good job on the Cusco bar and cutting the holes on the side covers. It should be standard on all USBs.

As for the removal of the engine cover for the track, no need to take it off. The last two track events, I left it on without issue. Also, the engine bay looks much more pleasant when the hood is raised in between sessions.

Where did you get that blue oil cap? What kind is it? It matches up great with the JoeZ intake.

Thanks guys, to cut the plastic I used a hacksaw (slowly and carefully) with the plastics secured.
I went little by little making repetitive trips to check if fitment was flush.
If I undercut it, I just went back to cut more.
But if I had overcut it, no going back to that!
Patience is key

The blue oil cap I like to pass off as imported from Japan, genuine JDM.
But it's only an eBay cap.
Anodized aluminum blue, hexagonal, us seller
