Just finished up painting the garage this weekend, all that's left is to do the floor. Don't have pics of it from before but it looks much much cleaner now lol
What color should I go with for the floor, something darker or lighter?

Hmmm...I think a really nice shaded grey would complete the look. Dark enough to cover tire tracks but light enough to still keep that clean look. Nice garage!

My house purchase is in the works, probably 3-6 months away. Shooting for a 3 car garage.

Love the Lexus flag you got there!

Nice! Mine wouldn't be photo worthy. Haha.

You thinking about going with an epoxy coat for floors? I'd do a dark grey.

Mine is still a work in progress. Here is a picture after I did the epoxy on the floor, the small door has a super long bay so they call it a four car garage since you could park two cars end to end.

Since this picture, I put in a TV, fridge, heavy bag and got rid of the sofa. I also have some posters up and a bunch of pictures yet to be hung. This is the long bay

A work in progress. I have added a bit more to this. It looks like a gallery . Even just added a nice bluetooth speaker for the garage so I have music when I wipe my car down .

We just finished up work on the floor and installed a 65' wall mount tv for watching motorsports while I work on the car/bike.

I Always tell people that we do not enter our home through the front door 99% of the time. Its the garage where we enter our homes and I think it should reflect the inside of the house or at least your own garage style. Oil stains, stacked boxes, spots on the walls are a BIG NO NO in my house. LOL Man , I even vacuum the garage floor every month or two with the Dyson then mop the floor and squeegee the entire garage surface. When I had the floor epoxied the guy asked me if I want glossy floors........I told him to blind me. Went with a super high gloss so the floor looks clean when its not.

Where do you guys keep your tools? I have a 2-car and one side is loaded with my woodworking tools, work bench, and mechanic tool boxes. Maybe I just have too many (except I don't think that's possible), but I only get one car in at a time!

Definitely keep the floor a light color. If you do it too dark you won't be able to see/find small pieces of hardware that drop(they always do) to the floor.
Good luck!

Sounds like you need a man-shed in the backyard(damn, that sounds sketchy) for your wood working stuff. Or a third garage bay!

This was when I first bought the house and now I'm can have my wood working stuff in he middle, back out the mower and work on the f in the middle bay and all the fab stuff is by the windows .

In craftsman I trust (note the fully refreshed 6m on the stand, it's goin in my roommates mk2 p type)

The supra just takes up the other bay and the yard working stuff. H20 treatment and heater fit nice behind the supra.
