Evil witch clerk smiles a sneer and announces, "Well, looks like you'll have to sell the car."

I almost said, "F--k off, b--ch!" but my better side just said, "I'm sure I can make it fit just fine."

And I did.
This is funny, actually laughed out loud.

True. A hard-top convertible looks ugly cause there's an extra slit in the roof, and the black retractable top looks even worse. No offense to any convertible owners, it's just a turnoff IMO. It's either coupe or nothing for me.

This versatility is the main reason I bought the IS-F as opposed to a 2-seat coupe In fact, I'd probably have bought a Cayman S otherwise.
We have the same family as you! Lol I have an ISF and the wife has a highlander.

I like coupes personally. The reason for the F was because we had a baby. Taking the infant carrier in and out the RSX was b****!!! But if I wanted a coupe again it would definitely be something else like a GTR

Also heads up on the Scion TC's...they like to cool the power steering fluid (which is really ATF fluid if I remember correctly) I always flushed her power steering fluid out when I did oil changes.
Yeah, I've cleaned out the reservoir a couple of times and refilled with fresh ATF. It gets completely black if you don't.

I don't really have any interest in a coupe version of the F either. As nice as I expect it will look I picked my sedan for the fact the it was a sedan. I have a Supra with targa which is far better then a convertible IMHO and that fills the segment for me. I could never drive around on a regular bases in a coupe again, I've done my time. I like having the space and not squeezing past a seat and B-pillar.
That being said I do hope to see the car come to production and with it a bunch of new F enthusiasts.
