Superchargers for IS F? Anyone?

you met an IS300 with a 2J motor with a long extensive history of awesome mods where making a 1000hp isn't hard, there is no ISF on the planet that will keep up with a well prepped IS300, sorry. If you want to drag race and want to win street races, you bought the wrong car....

Adding a forced induction system is not the hard part. But having a reliable tune to be a daily driver will be your biggest challenge. There is no proven system to date that seamlessly interface with stock US spec ECU.

I agree though that since the IS-F is an upper and more of a niche car than the 2JZ platforms, it may never have the numbers to warrant manufacturing engine mods and add-ons to the extent of others that would generate a profit.

show me a SINGLE isf running 9 second quarter miles, and cutting 1.40 60's - I have raced a twin turbo ISF out of houston and absolutely raped him in my supra, didn't WALK him, RAPED him, and he is arguably one of the most tuned ISFs in the country... Not a single ISF in the country that I know of has gone over 200 MPH in the standing mile, or otherwise been good street racing cars.
Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with the ISF, but TODAY - if you want a street weapon, it's the wrong car to buy - you can buy a 8000$ IS 300 and put 8000$ in it and run low 10 second quarters all day long.
My point is simple, the ISF is a niche car, it's a beautiful car, it's a well made car, but it's not a FAST car - especially when compared to nearly any platform that has a good aftermarket.
I'm not trying to be insulting, just want people to be realistic here - a small turbo 2J NA-T will make 500-550whp all day long on pump gas, so if you see an IS300 with a front mount intercooler, chances are good you're about to get your *** handed to you.
Just appreciate the ISF for what it is, it's a quick car in stock form, handles well, is beautiful to look at and docile enough to make a fantastic drivers car, it's not great platform for modding and street racing.
